I just don't want to be presumptuous about who will be playing where, part of what's great about this roster is there is bound to be a lot of competition just to get on the court - that can only rub off in the matches for this team to excel. Previous Message
We have a inexperienced redshirt freshman setter. However Zayna has good fortune in that she will be getting coaching/training from Tyler, and that may
shorten her learning curve.

ok, now to get way ahead of ourselves.
finished 16-15 last year, 10-10 in the Big West.
Joy always had a decent non-conf schedule, a similar one would be fine. We had 5 opponents (UCLA, Ga Tech, Wash State, San Diego, Boise ) that were quality opponents, and went 1-4, and should have beat Boise who was playing us without their setter.
There's simply no way this group (if there's no more turnover and the xfers) should finish worse than 15-5 cause we won't lose to Irvine, Davis, or Riverside, or Bake next year. And they should have the expectations to be better than that. Add in not having a couple of those bad losses in non-con, and it's reasonable to think 23-8 is the floor, and the ceiling is pretty high. The returning core had top 50 capability, based on the Pepperdine, San Diego, and UCSB matches and play down the stretch. Add in the experience and skill from the xfers and the competitiveness it will add to practices with competitiveness and depth and a 2014 type season or better is doable. High expectations and high hopes
