ok, I know I wasn't going to post. WVB has me too excited.

We won, so that's always exciting. Oh, to run the table and win the Big West and BWCT. Because actually we could win the Big West and BWCT. WHy?
the conference is pretty even and the conference is pretty bad. We'll be in the tournament, anywhere from the 1st to 11th seed or whatever.

if you were actually watching, there are some not so good things going on. Ramsel is just out to lunch. He got a rebound! Yeah! he threw up a horrendous shot after with no one in position to rebound and 3 SB players underneath. He missed. Little things

Hampton is Hampton, goes from engaged to not engaged, doesn't have a move to his right so he should be careful, but will throw in two obligatory charges anyway.

C'mon, y'all noticed those 3-4 HORRIFIC passes to SB players (one ala 1982 James Worthy to Georgetown or was it the other way around it's been so long), 6-8 easy points to SB. A decent team wouldn't have lost with those types of gift points.

Slater. Starting to make some really bad decisions. I get he's a better scorer than past, and had some good games, and now he's parlaying that into some really bad drives and shots. That 37 footer, yikes! we overcame it. He needs to shoot but stop with that.

Cobb stays within himself, yeah!!!

Murray got a little more on track, he can get out of control, but I trust him more in traffic than Slater, and Murray does get out of control.

The 6'7" Rotegard, frankly Ramsel was so bad, MOnson had the kid in as an inside presence, and at least he understood his role, i.e., he listened and understanding that role to get boards, and then if somehow open for a clear 3, take it.

Jones, Yep, design plays to get him the ball. Yep, opposoing BW coaches, despite having likewise awful teams, know that, so it's not easy, especialy for our 2008 'dribble-drive' offense, lol

which brings to Monson. Lol, made up his mind to go platoon at beginning, he does that every now in then (I mean the platoon thing, his mind is always made up with basketball knowledge that hasn't changed since 2008, lol). I mean that platoon was pretty evident a sucky line-up, and should have been aborted in about 1 minute as it led to wasting a good start. Like, people, think of this thought process. 'Hey, were doing so well, but my game plan was to platoon a funky 2nd unit at the 5 minute mark, and....well I'll stick with it no matter how bad it is doing'

And then, press, well ok, I pressed for 2 possessions, in the Monson mind-set, you only press for 2 minutes, unless there's 5 minutes left in the game and then, well, let's press until the end becuse, well, there's only 5 minutes, and we're behind by 15. lol. Forget the fact I finally recruited the best point press guy since Ennis, but, well, let's not utilize that!

Well. We won!! Adn play NOrthridge, and omg, they are worse than us. But we might lose, who knows. We'll see what game plan comes out. Wonder if he'll do that platoon thing again. CObb, have a chat with Slater, really don't need Slater on this trend to throw up shots UNLESS it's a a GOOD shot.

It is always interesting out of that Monson bag of tricks' to see which ones he'll employ.

Hoping something, please something sticks and starts to adhere with Ramsel and Hampton. That's part of the lifting the team ceiling. To Monson and staff credit, I know they've tried, they aren't devoid os some teaching principles.

oh, but for Monson to just resign before, after, during tommorrow's game and let Scholl or Q or McRae run the team. THere's so much energy right now, that can't somebody convince him it's the right thing to do? Our SID? the Mrs? does he have a dog that could make some progress on the resign issue. Fee? What have you got to lose, at least ask...politely! WOrst that can happen is he says no.
