Lindsey's whole career has been with Fisher. I'm not saying she would be a poor head coach, but could she have any success away from Fisher? She does not exactly check the box for the "exciting" hire we have been told to expect. The others you mentioned (including Sabrina) have much more varied resumes and have all worked under a number of differing circumstances and head coaches. Megan has for example been at A&M, Oklahoma, Tulsa, and UCLA and that's a more varied resume and experiences. Sure without the success of Pitt, but how much of Pitt's success is mainly Fisher himself?
what are Tyler's qualifications other than working with Knipe and Cook?
yes, Tyler also has USA Beach background, and has more qaulifications
the point is she's a proven assistant over a proven period of time on a program that has been on an upswing, and that is now in the final four, from California so wouldn't surprise if she would want to come to the west coast.
just saying, since the announcement seems to be tied to the final four being over.
the fact is, your comment along the lines of 'what is xxx's qualification aside from working with yyyy for zzz years?' will basically apply to virtually any assistant under consideration (whether that assistant is from Nebraska, or UCLA, or Long Beach, or fill in the blank)
I brought it up simply because of speculation (some of it mine) that could be waiting for Hildebrand, well it could be waiting for someone else as well, that's all
as well, is interesting that Pitt plays Nebraska in the semi-finals.
I think if Sabrina had been selected as HC we would have known by now, unless they are still waiting for some assistant to interview. thinking Sabrina may well be retained, depending on the search, on staff though.
What are her qualifications aside from working with Dan Fisher for several years?
while Hildebrand would be a great choice
there's another final 4 team assistant that could very well be on the radar.
University of Pitt assistant Lindsey Behonick
OC native, Concordia Univesity graduate.
don't be surprised by this one
