I disagree, one gear of improvement is not enough to extend at that time, it s a common mistake ADs make to reward a blip because they become so desperate
Not saying last year was just a blip, and the wbb trend is solid. Bottom line is after this year if trend continues yes and the danger of poaching a coach at a our mid major level is always out there

I posted last year that Fee should extend Cammons before entering the last year of his contract (this year). The team showed plenty of improvement in Year 4, certainly enough to warrant a 2 or 3 year extension. If the Lady Niners continue playing at a high level this season, Cammons will likely get offers from other schools and move on. You never let a coach into his/her final year unless you've already decided to make a coaching change. Does Fee think we're bringing Jody back?
