OLM truly is my second family and I know the power of OLM prayer is strong so I have a request. My family has been through a good bit this weekend and I need prayers for them to get through it. Friday evening my step-dads youngest brother (38) had a heartattack! He was rushed into emergency surgery and he had 99% blockage in the main artery. They placed a stint and he is recovering. He was truly given a second chance at life, so prayers for him and his wife and kids to get through the recovery and hopefully have a long and healthy future.
My second prayer request is for my step-brother, he received a phone call from his best friend early this morning to come and get him because he was not in a condition to drive. My brother left to pick him up and his friend refused to leave his motorcycle so my brother told him he would follow behind him to make sure he got home safely, well...another guy that was on bikes with them decided to play "cat and mouse" on the road and lost control and when he did, my brothers friend could not stop in time to avoid him and he flipped his bike and it killed him instantly. My brother is completely devastated and is blaming himself for allowing his friend to even consider driving. He witnessed the entire incident and is totally in shock and at this point, he is not talking to anyone. I am extremely worried about him and how this is going to affect him. PLEASE pray for him to get through this and for the family of his friend who now are at a loss. He left behind 2 beautiful children and a wife.
