I am just getting over this whole let down, for which I can only blame myself.
THANKS to all who supported! It's not easy being out there.
EVERYONE was and has been so complementory! I think it would be safe to say he was the crowd favorite too. I cannot remember hearing so much crowd participation (cheers and applauds).
This was supposed to be his sch retirement trial, but Mr. Whitehead has earned himself another year of championship competition. And next time it won't matter how angry he gets cause the traning time WILL be put in. My WORD on that.
Quick recap for any who care.
Tracking was excellent. On the first leg checked a tractor rut that his head happened to be in when a gust of wind came by, -1 point. At the last article I got to him to pick up the article and he bit a piece of grass and ate it, -1. = 98
Obedience wasn't bad. He was his normal laid back self. His only true error other than being slow was a stand during the sit in motion. No touch on the jump or anything, I was really happy. The judge was not, he didn't like him at all. Many people came to me after and expressed that it should have been an 84. = 74
Protection in the nut shell was good, he is a tuff dog to catch. That always buys me some impact, and I think maybe he felt it and went to the next level on me. The level I didn't train for. It's been a couple of years since I have seen him that mad. I knew after the first command that I was done. The Judge really liked him and said he had us at 96. = Dismissed

2 types of people. Those that talk the talk and those that walk the walk. People who walk the walk, they sometimes talk the talk. But most of the time they don't talk at all because they're walking.
