any differences in type between registries

since I've seen that there can be a lot of excessive controversy and emotion when it comes to multiple registries within a single breed, I hope that this inquiry doesn't end up being one of those questions that end up ruffling feathers. My question: I was curious to know what the differences are between APBT's reg. with the ADBA, and those with the UKC. Is there any difference (aside from opinions between people)? And if so, which would be the most significant? Or do each focus on different traits in the breed? (ie conformation/structure, performance, "gameness", etc) Thanks in advance.
