Yes, Pup is about as hot as they come. . .I don't think that even with my business that I've seen a dog with more dog aggression than Puppy, and I handle 40+ dogs per week.
That said, sit means sit means sit means sit. A few people on the board witnessed a little outburst at our last championship, actually. Puppy was offleash, just warmed up for protection. . .there was a fluffy dog between Pup and my truck. I was asking the man to move his dog and he didn't move fast enough. Pup got about 2 body lenghts in front of me before I gave him a firm FUSS command, and he slammed backward into heel position, hitting my leg.
SOLID obedience is key- and your expectations for this will have to be higher than most. It will also get to a point when the dog knows he's being set up, and you can use that to your advantage during trial time!

: Hey,
:
: Does anyone have experience working a hot
: dog in Schutzhund? If so, are there any
: pointers in managing and training with it,
: or is it just not meant to be. I've been
: tossing around the idea with getting my
: other dog in it as well, but I'm not sure if
: it would work out. I really want to try
: tracking most with him. He's got the drive
: for protection, but I don't think he's got
: the right nerves for it. And I'm not sure
: about the OB with off leash work around
: other dogs.
:
: Any info is appreciated.
:
: Thanks,
: Philip
