We did have a meeting a few months back, about how to grow and attract more attention/membership. We agreed that we need to be inclusive of our whole market. . .the only point of real discussion is where the focus is to go. (We want to maintain a protection focus, but welcome and sponsor other events as well)
Anyway, I don't have a problem with adding more events, especially if it brings more popularity and more participation. That's what it's all about.
Ron is the man to talk to about the organization being a registry. He already has a database of all our competitive dogs, and their pedigrees. It was his vision all along to have WPBTCA be an exclusive registry for the Working Pit Bull as well. . .offering working pedigrees, etc.
