The whole Martha Stewart thing is just a ploy for advertising. Go figger , inside trading happens everyday. You have stock in a company and know someone who works there and they tell you the company will soon become involved in a major law suite. You sell your stock. If your buddy was wrong and the stock went up , so sad for you , but if he was right ...you are breaking the law.
Martha Stewart can afford the fine a thosand times
over but look at the press coverage and amount of sympathy she is getting. Go Martha !
