It figures that Tom Leykis is in fact a violent individual. His language is violent. He has demonstrated that he has no control over his emotions or his words. And yet, we can still learn from him. What can we learn? There are men, who for whatever reason, are angry at the world. We can learn what to look for to help them if they want help or leave them alone. They are more like ticking time bombs than soldiers. How dare anyone compare any of this to American soliers, male and female, who have dedicated there lives to making this country safe. Tom Leykis is not safe. He is dangerous. It is not masculine to berate and belittle others simply because your experience with them has been negative. What he needs to do is check himself. And Ladies, if his modalities bother you so much, please ask yourself what it is that causes you to listen to his tirades. Do you expect to be treated well by men in general? Then Tom is not "normal" is he? So move on. If you are prone to taking advantage of men OR if you have been treated badly by them, Tom will irk you to no end. Here is a man that is angry with women for a reason. Perhaps it stems back as far as his childhood and his relationship with his mother. If you must listen to him, then learn something. Learn something about angry, rude men. If your man starts treating you like dirt after listening to Tom, ask yourself why you tolerate the dirt. Discuss what you don't like with your man; and if the two of you can't work it out, move on and find someone who is not trying to be a Tom Leykis clone. If you have taken advantage of men in the past (you may not even recognize what that looks like -- Tom may be of some help here), be honest with yourself, and ask if perhaps you might do better. If Tom says nothing that interests you, move on as well. Stop listening to him or write him a letter. Oh, that's difficult, since I haven't seen him post an address, hmmm... If you find an address, share it with other women, so they can write him as well. If you call to speak with him, you already know what you're going to get, unless you're one hec of a debater!
