I've been known to write a poem or two -- not sure if this will do for you (the rhymes are a bit iffy), but I hope it will work:
Are made of many pieces
Let's make a gift for this man and wife
Of many heartfelt wishes!
And how you know the bride and groom
Then your special message is the aim
To make this project bloom!
The squares get stitched together
To make a quilt that will become
A cherished life-long treasure!
