Posted by Nancy Plomaritis I am going to be testing it to see if it works. I will be using fresh ivy plants to make it. They will have their roots so they will be really living. The base is this open weave wired grapevine "ribbon". The reason I chose to make it living is that you won't need refrigeration ... and it should keep growing ... hopefully :-). You would be able to do it WAY ahead of time. When I am finished with the project I will be putting the instructions in the Graphics Galley of do-it-yourself projects ... where I put all my ideas. I am always trying to come up with new ideas that can be used for decorations. My newest idea is the "Living Ivy Garland".
