Dollar Dance

I would like to know what you thin of the dollar dance. Is anyone doing it at their wedding or has anyone done it. My future mother-in-law is appalled by the idea of it, but I know some couple who have paid for their honeymoon with the money from the dollar dance. Is it cheesy or just plain fun?
