For example, glue two doves onto the card box or attach a figurine of Cinderella and her prince charming.

There are many types of wedding card holders that you can easily make on your own, at minimal cost! All you need is some fabric (or wrapping paper), flowers, greenery, a glue gun, paint, and your imagination!
1. Purchase a regular bird cage.
2. Spray paint the cage white.
3. Add ivy and flowers for a wedding look. You can use real or silk florals/greenery.
1. Take a plain basket.
2. Spray paint the basket white.
3. Line the basket with satin or tulle, by either using a glue gun or threading the fabric through the basket.
4. If the basket has handles, tie ribbon around the handles with your wedding colors.
5. Tie a large satin or organza bow along the center of the basket (or top handle) to top the basket off.
1. Find a large cardboard box.
2. Slit a hole in the top of the box for cards (make sure the slit is large enough to hold the biggest cards!).
3. Wrap the box in white wedding paper. If you are willing to splurge, you may use white satin fabric instead.
4. Around the box opening, decorate with ribbon, lace, and silk flowers and greenery.
