Congratulations on your coming wedding :o)
There are so many ideas and decorations for a Christmas wedding :o). First of all, all of Christmas decorations are on clearance now, you could get very great deals on a lot of things.
Here are some ideas:
You could place a christmas tree decorated with family photos of both families by the main entrance to your ceremony location and then move it to your reception. The flowergirl could throw "snow" instead of flowers. You could make the snow with a snowflake hole punch and come sparkly confetti.
One of ideas for a favour could be to have ornaments personalized with your names and the date. You could use them in your decorations by hanging on a Christmas tree. Guests could just pick one up on the way out the door. Then they would hang them on their own trees at home and remember every year your special day.
Some ideas for centerpieces: small boxes wrapped as gifts, small evergreen bonsai decorated as x-mas tree, bowl of ornaments, candles surrounded by evergreen, etc. You could use stars, pinecones and snowflakes for your decorations. You could hang personalized stockings at the head table for each wedding party member as a gift for them. Instead of bubbles, you could use jingle bells for everyone to ring when you are announced at the reception as husband and wife, and also to see you off at the end of the night.
