I am a wedding decorator and I use these hooks that you squeeze right on to your ceiling track. They are ceiling friendly and every reception hall that I have used them in has been very happy with the way they work. You can get them at your local hardware store. I'm sorry I don't know the name of them. They are some kind of hanger or ceiling bracket hook. Hope this helps you!
