The ghostly wolfess was not impolite, however, and sat near to the entrance rather than immediately barging in for an explanation. Her grandson was wise beyond his years - he had the instinctive intelligence that all her offspring inherited from her mate. Whatever he had done, whomever he had brought into their realm of sanctuary, she would always trust his judgment and actions. Lifting her muzzle, the aging lady parted her jaws for a long, song-like cry that echoed off the trees and spiraled through the lakes and ponds of the sacred territory. She called for her beloved and for the few of their line that rested in the confines of the pack. Somewhere deep inside, the wolfess hoped that Thanh and Halifax would come to her before the summons awoke whomever rested in the cavern behind her. Some distance away, Mirai glanced sightless eyes up from his playing with the young Thorn, holding Joukai up by the tail and promptly dropping him when the call echoed in his ears. "Us?" he queried of Tsuka, the twin who never strayed far from his side. The dusty femme tilted her head, noting the tone and pitch. "Eh...she wants us, but isn't demanding it," she stated candidly. "Thanh and Da're in trouble for sure, though. Maybe Ani too...she's always making mischief..." Tsuka's bicolored orbs darted around cautiously, seeking out the sister that she knew was most likely hiding just within earshot. She was fully prepared for a verbal-slash-physical spar, the very thought enough to stretch a broad and playful grin across her features.

Spritey paused at the entrance to Water, a concoction of new smells tingling the sensitive hairs of her nose. Placing her cold, wet snout to the frosty ground, the dam inhaled deeply. One was of Thanh, she knew his scent anywhere. The others puzzled her, however. Last she had seen of her grandson, he was grief-stricken and sentenced to solitude by his own will. A worried frown marred her ivory brow, and the fae moved further into the territory that had become a blessed shelter for her family.
