Halifax licked Spritey consolingly, nuzzling her and whining gently, choking back tears. He smiled oh-so softly. "I love you. It's so good to see your face again, Spritey, I... I love you," He repeated, nuzzling her again. "And I will love no one else till my dying day."
Nathaniel twitched, a single lip lifting as she turned to her sightless brother. She glared pointlessly at him, grumbling, "Oy, one o' you say that agin, I dare you," She snorted haughtilly, then turned back to Joukai, smiling. "It's alright, midgi- eh, kid. I'm Ani, an' that lout over there's Mirai." She smirked at her brother over her shoulder.
