Spritey smiled at her grandson's sudden change of posture, knowing she'd made the right decision. The most important thing about Water was that it remained a safe-haven for Halifax's family, and Thahn was a level-headed and determined youth...even if he occasionally masked it with indecisiveness or humility. This was what he needed to give himself some solid pride and self-esteem. 
And now Thahn's got something to feel proud about! *pokes the puppy*))
