His green eyes were lingering on Demetrios for a moment, wondering who in Ice might tell him something different from what Cealia had said. Arturio decided that it was unlikely anyone from Ice would deviate from what was right, and that the young prince was trying to protect Lightning. His intentions might be good, but good intentions did not always guarantee pack safety. The white brute's gaze went over Lightning briefly. "It's possible. I did go to fetch Jadden recently because his uncle needed something of him," he said with a bit of a shrug. Arturio didn't know who Crescent was, but it was definitely possible that was the fae Jadden was speaking with some time ago when he went to retrieve the boy.
The Beta finally turned his full attention to Kash, shaking his head slightly. "No sir, only by what I've heard. Cealia and I were talking about some of the goings on within her pack, just catching up, and the name came up as one who was exiled... When I heard Demetrios as I was coming over, I thought it might be her." The brute paused, turning his head towards Lightning briefly before shaking his head and giving a resigned sigh as he turned back to his alpha.
"Nothing against your boy, Kash, but I am inclined to believe he's leaving something out," his gaze flicked back to Demetrios briefly before continuing, "Lightning has caused some turmoil within Ice, and in Cealia's word, she came'running up on how she and her family is leaving to form a new pack, of course before they learned the mountain would not allow it, then said never mind and all and expected Black Rain to be lenient.'" He paused briefly, shaking his head again, "I don't meant to step out of line, Kash, but she will not be an assest to the pack in any way. They say apples do not fall from trees... If her mother undermines pack authority, the chances of her offspring doing the same is very likely." Arturio would gladly elaborate on anything if necassary, or at least to the best of his ability. The white brute didn't want to undermine Kash's authority, but as his Beta and right hand, it was his job help his alpha and be his second in command. He'd be doing a poor job if he didn't try to do anything.
