The black wolfess nodded a greeting to Kratos as he arrived, drawing a deep breath through her nose to disguise her sleepiness. Hades felt like giving her head a good shake to clear her mind, but didn't. It would seem very out of place in this gathering of very awake animals. Now that the group was complete, the fem placed her crimson gaze on Kashann, very interested now in what he'd wanted to bring up with him; his son, a seemingly random pack member, and his lead guard. Interesting.
It started off well enough, talking of change and alliances. Wait a second, what was that? The wolfess' heart skipped a beat, but her face didn't change. Hades wasn't lead guard anymore, but Kashann had said that they'd all be serving their pack... The question was demotion or promotion? It'd been a rough couple of weeks, with little sleep. Arturio had taken yup a couple of the day patrols for her, thankfully. Was that reason for demotion, thought? Surely Kashann would be understanding in such a predicament? He always was..
Swallowing her questions, Hades chose to listen further. Whatever she was handed, the wolfess would take with appreciation. She had no doubt in her mind that whatever she was given, she'd earned; whether or not it was a step down. The black and crimson wolfess flashed Kratos a quick smile, tail wagging across the ground a few times. He'd wanted Lead Guard, she couldn't be more happy for him. Turning her gaze back to her alpha, Hade's ears pricked at her own name. The fem's heart skipped again -Kash was going to be the death of her if he continued this. A wide smile spread across her face. Lower Beta? An honor, really high honor. "I have no qualms with that," she threw in with a wide smile, tail sweeping across the ground.
As with Kratos, Arturio's appointed position granted him a smile and wag of Hades' tail. So Arturio was a step above her, Kratos now had her old position, and she was Lower Beta; more free time and respect. All she needed to do was train the new positions when they came and take over in Kash and Art's absence. Easy enough, a releif even. The wolfess felt like laughing, one of those easy, hearty laughs, but refrained. At the end of Kashann's speech, the wolfess seemed to gain a bit of energy.
The fem's red gaze bounced to Arturio when he spoke. "Honored?" Hades raised a brow, nudging him a bit roughly with her shoulder in a playful way. "You're thrilled." A wide smile spread across her face and she stood. With a soft chuckle, she turned the Kashann and wagged her ebony tail quick behind her. "Well.. honored and thrilled. I know I am."
