This morning's meeting was planned rather well, Kash giving each member ample warning. This was probably the only reason why the sleek crimson and black wolfess was still awake. Despite the fact that she hadn't slept for nearly forty-eight hours, Hades' red eyes were sharp and attentive as the swept the horizons. Her long legs jogged at a constant pace, crimson paws hardly making a sound on the crisp, burnt grass of the plateau that looked over the tidal beaches. It was hard being the lead guard sometimes, especially when your days were filled with hunting and trying to lead a nearly normal life. However, Hades took pride in her job, would never complain in the least. It was an honor to serve an alpha as fair as Kashann.
A small smile broke the otherwise placid face of the young fey when a familiar sound reached her, calling from far across the island. Was it that time already? An ear flipped backwards, two black, feathery wings bursting from the fem's shoulders. Hades gave a few swift stride and leapt, taking to the air smoothly. The wolf's large wings beat heavily, propelling Hades across the island much fast than it would have been on foot. The lagoon came into sight, but she didn't slow. Folding the feathery appendages to her sides, the black wolfess shot at the ground like a bullet, opening her wings at last second and beating to slow the impact. Hades landed a few yards from Kashann with a light thump of her paws, but wasted no time to pause. The wolfess closed the distance, smile growing larger and tail waving pleasantly behind her.
"'Morning Kash," Hades greeted her alpha with as much ease as she might a good friend. It was easy living in Water, not a place where you needed to watch your words and guard your back. The fem's crimson gaze ventured around, landing on the white wolf she knew only by association with the pack. Hades offered the young brute a smile and soft motion of her tail. "And good morning to you too, Arturio." There wasn't a member of Water that Hades disliked... Well, not yet at least.
