It had been quiet, not many visitors other than those who already lived on the Island. Kashann spent a lot of time at home. He'd explained to Harmony that his heart is always open to Katannah and it will always be, but on the Island there is more to think about, of course he knew Harmony thought that was no excuse but if he was to lose her there would be no reason to remain Alpha of this here pack...the love of his life would be gone...the very wolf that made him who he is...somehome Kash thought...or always used to think Harmony knew that.
Today was a lighter day after Girly, the sickly pup died from catching pneumonia. It was sad but Kashann had to make the decision to pull her from the den and spend the last days with her. It was hard on him...another one of his daughters dead...some how Kash felt he was doing something wrong. It had been a few days and Kash finally felt he could bring himself around the pups now...at least without passing the bacteria to the other healthy pups.
Taipan was lying in a pile of dust next to the den...he'd made this his spot to lye...keeping dirty was his favorite thing as a pup. But from birth Taipan was different from the rest...his eyes seemed to be filled with anger...reminded him of someone...but Kash could not place it.
Demetrios stepped out of the dark den and shook his fur...opposite Tai, Demetri was calmer and happier a pup. He always seemed willing to fight for his siblings...especially when Tai went to pulling tails and ears. He noticed his father coming down the path to the den area and called back to his mom and other siblings, "Ma! he's home."
