Katannh stepped in quickly when Kashann asked for Lelio's name, "Lelio, and he is no concern to you." which may have been the wrong thing to say to her brother. Katannah knew in some aspect she wasn't speaking to her brother...she was speaking to an Alpha who had responsibilities and Kash had taken to them easily and willingly. "You are my brother...it used to be that you would easily forgive me. What has changed?" She asked looking over his shoulder to Harmony suspecting the poison she could have leached into his mind.
"This is my pack any visitor here is of concern for me." Kash said with force, finally letting go the fact that Kat had overstepped her boundaries, "Nothing in me has changed towards you, You are my sister and never has to be asked to be forgiven. It is the way family works...you apologize and I forgive you...I always will. I am not just Kash anymore Kat, I am a father, mate and alpha, if it was just me there would be no need to fix anything...but I have others to consider," Kashann didn't understand why he had to be explaining this. "A few months ago it would have been in a heartbeat, but now in my responsibility to so many I can't make split second decisions."
Katannah listened to Kashann...still not grasping the depth of what has changed in her brother. She didn't want to be clueless to his plite to forgive her, later she would ask Lelio to explain...or even Cortana...she was Alphess and now remain leader of a gang. Katannah nodded, "Then would it help that I promise not to cause your family harm?"
Kashann laughed at the thought, "You could never not harm me, it is our relationship and honestly I wouldn't know what to think if you did stop paying your twisted form of love to me. I am fine with all your betrayals to me, trying to kill me in the fire twice and then sending your own son to try again, What I can't promise I will allow to pass is you betraying or causing harm to my pack in anyway or my family." Kashann was very serious about this...but he wore a lighthearted smile all the while. It to him felt good to see his sister doing well and something in him was glad she wasn't terribly more crazed for power.
"Then would it help at all if I do my best to leave your family and pack out of my ideals?" It was all she could really do Katannah new in her mind it wasn't much but still it was the best considering who the wolf before him was.
Kash knew this was the most she'd ever given him...and it was almost a promise to leave his family out of her plots or desires to harm him. "I can accept that." there was a smile on his maw. "I guess it was a pleasure not speaking to you Lelio." he said light heartedly...always trying to lighten the mood. The two siblings shook paw...it wasn't like either of them to hug anyone...Kash had only hugged Harmony on a few occasions...choosing to nuzzle more often than embrace. Still the brute wandered why there was such a familiar feeling about this Lelio
Katannah turned to towards the main land intending to leave now...it was fixed or it was back to where it was...better than nothing and Kash was right. Any other way and the relationship would not work...this was how it was and she was glad that she could attempt to harm her brother and yet he would always be there to stand by her. It was something like what Lelio had...she never realized how much good Kash carried even in his desire to protect what was his. "Well I am sure we should be going," she spoke to Lelio, "...it's getting to be really early." Katannah wanted to get back to the brotherhood before the sun came up...maybe meet with Cortana.
Kashann stood next to Harmony now, he wouldn't turn his back on any visitor even if it was his sister. Especially his sister. This meeting was emotionally draining on him...he had never been so tired in all his months of coming into this power. Seeing Kat had made him angry, sad, worried, happy, satisfied and thirsty all the same. It gave him energy and took it away, and it gave him strength and took it away all in the same instant. He wasn't sure if he should extend the welcome mat to her or him or both. He wasn't sure what Lelio was to her other than moral support.
He looked over to Harmony...who of course was quiet but he knew she had her words...Kash valued her opinion...over many, "What, Harm?"
