With the wolf now in his sight Kingdom stopped his bellowing. He swam and pulled his weight onto shore. Out of the water his heavy belly weighed him down like a rock, so Kingdom quickly laid down in the sand for comfort. At first his gills gasped for breath, but as he exercised his lungs and nostrils they calmed down.
"Hello." Kingdom smiled and lowered his head. "Are you the alpha?"
