He was not one to go against someone's wishes. If his new alpha wished to be called Kash, then he would call him such. The white male was smiling when he spoke again, "I don't think it was the smell of prey. I think Caecus has a sixth sense for finding the right places for whatever we might be looking for."

Caecus chuckled as he began to walk furthur into the island pack. "That, and it doesn't smell nearly as much of flowers like you my friend," he said to his canine counterpart. After that, he dipped his reptilian muzzle to Kash, "I think I'm going to explore a bit on my own so I can figure this place out." With that, the blind beast was off, letting the sounds and smells of the small territory guide him.
