He'd join her after a while...although he would be restless during the story...he used fire to dry the floor again...spreading more dirt and trying to help Harmony as much as possible. "Well I was born in a zoo...with my mom and dad," He started. "I had never known the wild but like all trapped wolves we imagined what it would be like, My father was a captured wild and my mother was born and raised in captivity. My mother hated when he'd tell us stories of what free wolves get...I of course clung to my mothers words and tried not to pay attention...realizing that once humans have you they have you. Katannah, That's my sister...the one I am mentally bonded to, clung on to my fathers every word...and thirst for the outside world."
"One night he convinced Katannah to help with an escape plan...that included making the kerosene lamp fall and light fire to the enclosure. Well they succeeded in lighting the fire...but my mother and father died. Terrified we were carried out of the enclosure and sold to a testing laboratory. My sister wanted to blame humans and I thought father filling her head with all those stories was to blame. In the Laboratory there were many genetic testing...but they tried to make us mate...and wondered why we couldn't...to this day I think they made us mate in a dish under some microscope. We stopped liking each other while we were there...and we had to be split because we could not stop fighting...there was so much hatred between us two. After the split they gave up on us trying to mate...which leads me to believe there was a success in the office. The went to testing other things on us. Tying twine on our legs to tell us apart because at that time we were still young and still the same size as they were starving us both. I got blue twin..." He showed his right leg. "She got lavender. It was painful...after a while the twine was embedded into the skin...now it would be more painful to remove it than keeping it there...skin had grown around it and veins have made there way through it. So they tried creating a different color into the genes...I didn't take to mine at first...my body fought it and rejected it many times. Katannah had it worse...she got sick with each injection...but took to the gene testing before me. Once all the injections were done inside me is a gene to produce blue fur and in Katannah is lavender...found in dogs but not in wolves." He went to lay next to Harmony and nuzzled her before continuing.
"Later while we were sleeping all tests done and they were starting to feed us again It rained really hard. We had no shelter where we slept so lightning around was heard...it's why I fear lightning today. Both enclosures caught fire again...but this time we helped each other survive and escape...we traveled together here until we got here...after that we parted ways convinced never to see each other again...now that she's been tricked and has learned to be fair with her evil ways she wants to make up...I am unsure about it...she sent my own nephew to kill me." He finished...that's where it was...to just before finding Harmony again and having pups...before choosing to take Water and become an Alpha...that was the history before the present.
"I want to know that if that test tube puppy was to find his way here...that you would be fine with it. I want to know with all things that happened in my past they all can come to light eventually...I haven't run from them...but it's a lot to take in and know and then repeat to someone. You are my confidant...I tell you things I won't tell any other and I expect you as my mate and Alphess beside me to stand with me even under fire." It was the first time he'd told the story in it's entirety Kashann could only hope that Harmony don't back away from him.
