Posted by Howl on January 3, 2007, 11:46 pm, in reply to "/At\/The\/Verge\" Moments later her lowered the fea to the ground on a patch of dry grass. There was a pile of sticks surounded by rocks that he had put there incase it got too cold or someone got sick from swimming in the cold waters this time of year. It seemed that this fea needed the heat of a fire most. With a light breath Howl lit the pile of wood on fire with his fire blessing. "I hope this keeps you warm." he thought outloud. He wondered if she might be hungry when she woke up. He nodded to himself, of course she would. "I'll be right back." he said, again thinking outloud. Howl flew off. He had to find something. Even if pray was scarce, he had to try to atleast find something that one wolf could eat. As he flew across the pack boarder he saw a small dear, a fawn. She seemed to be stuck in a patch of mud. This was his chance, the fawn was just on the boarder of the pack lands. He readyed himself then launched himself in a downward attack. In moments he had taken the fawn down by grabbing it's neck and slitting it's throat. Blood from the fawn flung all over his blong fur turning patches of him crimson. He grabbed the small dear up by the back of the neck and liffted it into the air, ready to fly back to the fea. With a strong grip Howl flew back over the pack lands. He sat the fawn down on the ground close to the patch of dried grass where the fea lay. He began to lick the blood from his fur as he calmly waited for her to awake. ~**~

~**~ Howl was concerened for the fea. He took hold of her scruff and lifted her up as he jaw. He had to get he to a dry area, but he was not sure if he could cary her for long. She did not seem too heavy as he lifted her into the air. He flapped his feathered wings and began carry the fea off to the center of the pack land where it was the dryest.
