Moonshine barely heard the strange brute's voice as she was pulled from the water that had nearly swallowed her up. She tried to stand but toppled over just as she had gotten her forepaws under her. Her last thoughts before blanking out were faint hopes that the strange wolf who had pulled her from the river could be trusted and would not hurt her.
