Anybody out there goin after steelhead in the vermillion or black rivers this spring? Though i havent done much steelhead fishing, i pretty much understand the different techniques. Is it best to start shallow after ice out, say less than 5 feet (like under the I-90 bridge) or can you move deeper, or even out to the river mouth? If anybody can give me some bearing on where to start i would appreciate it. Thanks.
