I also tried the jets (30's)a week or so back, trolling at about 1.4-1.6 knots, and they just didn't seem to be running at 30' deep, 100' back? There just appeared to be a lot of line out for that. My wife was kind enough to buy some yellow bird planers and jets for Christmas this yr, as I usually run dipsy's off the boat.
