In the United States, if you require 2 fusion surgeries then the doctor does them at the same time. I'm assuming that it's the same in England. One that's anterior and one that's posterior. If you do go in again for another check-up before surgery, make sure you find out as much information as you can about the surgeries you require and how much experience your doctor has doing them both at the same time. Good luck. I understand why you want to get them done as soon as possible.
