Posted by Jonathan I do want to get everything over with as I am a violinist experiencing pain when I play for long enough (standing or sitting), and when just standing. I feel rather stupid for not asking all the questions I now want to know the answer to, but I was rather shellshocked when the consultant suggested surgery and I left quickly. I'm almost 15, male, from Bedford, England and have just been diagnosed by a Dr Stuart Tucker (anyone know him?) with a 53 degree lumbar curve and some thoracic rotation. I am on a 9 month waiting list for two fusion operations in Stanmore, and a hospital stay for 'max 2 1/2 weeks'. Would anyone be able to tell me if this stay will include both operations, or just the first?
