Thank you for your advise. I am planning on contacting the Shriner's for help. We have little insurance. I have not yet contacted them. Our doctor has said that my son will probably need a 10 hour operation from the front and the back. He said there was no need to contact the Shriner's until the curve hits 50, then go there and have the surgery. Does this sound right?...Thanks so much
