Posted by Kat Also, I gave one unit of blood and got really nutty and faint about it and don't want to do it again. How many units do most people need? What's so bad about other people's blood? (I used to be very against it, but now, other people's blood - O.P.B.-- isn't looking so bad!!) When I wake up, will I be all vomitty and throwing up? Oddly, I am afraid of that, too. When can I go back to work? I am a lawyer, so basically sick on my butt all day. Do I have to be on my back for 2 months? I'm so afraid! Someone, please, throw me a bone! Kat p.s. -- do you think I'll get taller as a result of the surgery?

This is so crazy! I am 33 and will have a posterior fusion in 1 week (March 21). I have an s-curve of about 44 and 37 degrees. My pain is awful and that's why I'm having the surgery done. I have heard people say that scoliosis shouldn't cause pain. What's up with that??? Am I the only one?
