My Daughter, 17 months old, Shows no sign of crawling and is not willing to be on her tummy. She throws a major fit in seconds. Her diagnosis has gone from, "yes there is a slight curve in her spine, but I don't think it is scoliosis" to a 40 degree curve in 8 months. This is the same ortho who is treating her for bilateral hip displacia and for 8 months has only said her hips are not keeping her from tolorating tummy time and developing a crawl. When I learned, last month, her scoliosis was that significant I never thought to ask about how much of a problem for crawling her scoliosis could be? And he never offered any input in that direction. So I ask parents of children, who can walk/crawl and hopefully talk about their pain, how scoliosis has really affected their mobility and enjoyment of being on their tummy. Thank You, Clyde
