I'll pray for your son, & for his surgery to go well. I had a harrington rod instrumentation @ age 11yr. 1979, 12vertabrae fused...T1-T12, I have severe idiopathic scoliosis , a 75 degree curve. Mine was such a long time ago, I've heard alot has improved now. Good luck & God Bless,
