Hi. I'm 23 years old and i had corrective surgery 2 years ago in the caribbbean where i'm from. My curve was about 47 degrees at both top and bottom I have all faith in my surgeons skills but i still experience quite a bit of pain in my hip where bone was removed for use along the spine. I have 2 Titanium rods in my back on either side of the spine and i was not required to wear a brace post-op.
