When my surgeon suggested another operation and I was all for it, my mum was silent - trying hard to show she doesn't approve. My lower spine is 49 so there is a chance it can increase and my upper spine is 48 but it's fused so it's not going anywhere. I really don't want my lower spine to increase otherwise I'll need ANOTHER operation to fuse my WHOLE spine together. Everytime I think about my whole spine being fuse I cry. I cannot imagine not being able to bend over. Jessica

I don't know exactly the name of it, but I had spinal fusion and anterior release. I'm going to see my specialist again (2nd appointment post op) at the start of June so I can ask him some more questions.
My surgeon was satisfied with the outcome, it was better than he expected. I gre 6.5 cm (which was great because I'm only 147.5cm now)
