I have severe scolosis with 2 significant curves. My orthpedic surgeon recommends surgery. I am 57 years old and feel very concerned that I could end up worse after surgery. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had the surgery later in life. I would like to know the prognosis and how long it takes to be functional, drive and work.
I would also like to know if pain is relieved by this surgey.
