Hello. I was 13 yrs old when I had the surgery. I wore a brace for a year, but my spine only got worse, going to a 75 degree curvature. I had the surgery and I was doing fine until I went to college. The first two year, I had some pains, but I was fine. After 3 years of pain in my neck and shoulders, and hundreds of medical bills later, I found out, that my spine didn't heal properly causing Fibromaylsia in my neck and shoulders. I have such terrible pain every day. I have the harrington rods. I am 24 years old. Will I be able to have children? Has anyone experienced what I have? I feel like I am alone. People thought I was crazy and I was making up this pain. I even have parts of my spine that is still numb to the touch. Please let me know if others have experienced what I have. I feel alone and I am really hurting.
