Hi, im Isabel and ive just turned 16 years old =)
the thing is, im thinking about having the operation but im really really worried about it, incase someting goes awfully wrong in the operation and im left disabled for life, or left with worse pain for life.
My mum said when she had to hav metal plates in her arm due to her accident, she said whenever she banged it the got excrucianating pain due to the metal being there, and im just worried that it will be like that if i have the operation and have the metal plates put in my back.
If anyone here has had the operation please can you tell me how long it took you to recover, and how long is it till you can run and be normally active again?
Someone pleeeease help me im really confused about this, my doctors a bastard everytime we try to get in touch with him he never replies and his secretary is always putting us on hold on the phone, something really has to be done about it because its starting to get a lot more obvious with the clothes i wear and everything =(
