My son just had thoracic spinal fusion done on May 25th. He was only in the hospital 4 days and his pain level was a 4 or sometimes 5 ( ten being excrutiating.) He was in surgery for 5 and half hours and did not have to transfuse. I credit his massage therapist for getting him ready for this procedure and my son's strong faith. He was stitting up by day 2 and standing and walking by day 3. I wish you all the best and if you need any other answers dont hesitate to ask. My prayers for a great recovery are with your family!
