I do not know anyone who has had problems with walking. I mean it is challenging at first because of the intensity of the surgery and pain. I had a hard time standing and walking but physical therapists in the hospital will make her. It will probably be one to two days after surgery but that's just an estimate. And then she'll be able to walk normally after about a week or so (but with caution). Do you know if she's having anterior or posterior surgery? I hope this eases your worries. Walking after surgery is not an issue. Good luck.
