Yes you are correct. I only have 3-4 vertebrae fused. I can touch my toes, bend, etc. I tend to not participate in contact sports because it's not really my thing in the first place. Although, I'm sure I could if I wanted. The reason I have only have 3-4 vertebrae fused is because I had Anterior Spinal Fusion. The doc will perform this surgery if your curve is right for it and if they actually do anterior surgeries. Most of the old-timer surgeons don't do it because it's a newer procedure.
