I wore a brace for 3 months so with that on I never worried about hurting myself. There was one time that I remember where I jumped up really fast from a lying down position and didn't roll to the side correctly. It scared me but it didn't do any harm. I really feel like you probably won't want to twist or bend much because of your incisions and because you had surgery. But if you feel like you could do something to hurt yourself then try to take it easy. At this time you shouldn't be able to drive or anything like that. I think. That would require twisting. Just take is easy and be careful and if you are then i'm sure you won't do anything wrong.
