Sheryl, where was your revision surgery? I was fused in 1982 for a double curve (thoracic and lumbar) with a harrington rod attached. I have been having severe pain in the only two unfused lumbar joints I have for almost two years and after trying EVERYTHING to resolve the pain, nothing has. I am now considering being fused the remainder to my sacrum. I will be meeting with a surgeon in Mpls/St. Paul on May 17th and I am looking for info from anyone who has been fused all the way to the sacrum. I live alone and am scared of the mobility I will lose, and what my life will be like? Please email me if anyone can give me some first hand information. I am at howardhills@juno.com Thanks!
