Dear Matt, I would certainly seek out a qualified scoliosis surgeon, a doctor who is board certified with the Scoliosis Research Society and also the AAOS, American Association of Orthopedic Surgery. Too many people with scoliosis are contacting doctors who do not have the correct credentials to deal with patients having scoliosis. Make sure the doctor also is well versed in ADULT SCOLIOSIS, not just pediatric. So many physicians only deal with children...you need one who sees adults with scoliosis and there are a lot of us out there believe me. Good Luck Matt!
