Hi Holly, I'm so sorry you are experiencing such pain, I can relate. I have had over 40 years of horrible back pain and after 6 spine surgeries I know what you are going through. However, I feel that everyone can be helped with this condition. Please do not give up looking for a surgeon who is with a good spine center. You may have to go online and find one. You may go to the Scoliosis Research Society webpage and find a doctor who belongs to that organization. You should also make sure the doctor you see is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgery. When they have both credentials, you can be sure that your doctor is well qualified.
